Is this forum still alive?
V1u is one of SONY's best prosumer cameras. i think SONY should put a moderator here . Just compare the level of activity with Canon HV20/30 here :

or may be just shut this forum down. People are ending here from Google search to find some information about SONY V1u. All there is here is some out dated information or many un-answered plea for help.
