For you more experienced VJ's, this may sound dumb.... Diving new into video with this camera, I unfortunately picked up Avid without knowing that it won't work with my MacBook Pro intel chip yet. So, I was trying to shoot HD and downconvert with the camera into iMovie (testing it's abilities), and I cannot get it to downconvert to letterbox in iMovie or iMovieHD. I'm assuming this is an iMovie issue, and not an issue about the camera...

Am I too much of a dork or does someone happen to have an answer to my quandry?

I figured out my settings were not quite correct and had to get them to lineup correctly. Everything's great now.
